day 9

Last day of the vegetarian life! I almost feel like I’ll miss it. I will definitely lean on my lessons learned from this phase – a good oatmeal breakfast with fruit, fruit as a snack, brown rice, vegetable-based meals, 5 small meals a day – all good lessons that will definitely sustain me through life regardless of what it means for my weight. I am definitely going to be healthier – cholesterol, body fat, wellness – as a result of this plan.

8 a.m. (Meal #1): 1 cup of oatmeal, blueberries

11 a.m. (Meal #2, heavy snack): granola bar, 2 cups 1 % milk

2 p.m. (Meal #3): tomato basil soup, saltines (7), pear

5 p.m. (Meal #4, light snack): I forgot to eat this snack. 😦

7 p.m. (Meal #5): veggie burger with mustard, asian slaw

9 p.m. (Light Snack): yogurt parfait with granola and strawberries
