Boot Camp – Day 2, 3

As I enter day three it’s safe to say I’m on a roll. I am conscious of what I’m eating and doing, as well as reaching for ways to do it better.

Yesterday I went to spin class and worked my butt off the entire hour. I haven’t been to a spin class in many, many months, but I survived it and I’m actually look forward to the next one.

I am so happy to be back on track. I know I have to sustain it for more than three days to make that claim, but we all know how different if feels when you’ve let go of the bad and given into the good. I feel like I’ve once again given in.

Oh, how different my life would be if I had more time, especially with the knowledge I now have at my disposal. One day at a time. For today, I am focusing on eating like a vegetarian for all meals I can (I still buy meat and haven’t identified enough vegetarian food/recipe options to completely change my habits – but I’m working on it).

I am also pushing to find ways to get more intense workouts in. This is a hard one as it is hell on my hair. After spin class my head was soaked with sweat. I just have to get used to the idea of washing and blowdrying my hair more than once a week. I long for the day I’m 100% natural and have enough length to pull my hair back. I had a relaxer craving after my workout yesterday, but I’m still holding on. I know my natural hair will be as easy to maintain as my relaxed hair once it all grows out and I have have one common texture.
