homecoming

I was talking with some friends about Homecoming and why I wasn’t going. I told them it wasn’t that big of a deal and the drive was too long, but the real deal is that I don’t have any friends to really hang with.

Sure I can bounce around from group to group, but that sh*t gets old. I’m tired of being on the fringe. I’m only expending time and energy when I’m in the fold. Otherwise, I can stay with my people here that are my circle and keep my money in my pocket. I will make the effort for a big reunion year, but otherwise, what’s the point? My alums are some funky folks at times and I can see them and their funky attitudes for free at home, lol.
